Candice has been an American actor who rose to prominence as Caroline Forbes on the super-hit CW show The Vampire Diaries. Though Candice gained fame for her acting skills, she started out her career singing. In 2009 she released her debut album , 'It's Always the Innocent Ones in United States. She wrote 12 of the 14 tracks that comprise the album. When she was working on her acting in the show, she also appeared in shows like How I Met Your Mother. Even though her career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she was chosen to star on the CW series The Vampire Diaries. It was the first show to make her a household name. Candice received acclaim as an outstanding actress and her outstanding performances. She played the same role for all eight seasons that ran for 171 episodes. She was also seen playing her role in the spin-off series The Originals in 2018 and Legacies in 2021.
