Candice King began her acting career during the beginning of the 1990s when she was a musician. In 2009, she released her debut album , 'It's Always the innocent Ones' in United States. The majority of the songs included in the album were composed by her. While working on her acting as well, she was also a guest on shows such as How I Met Your Mother. Although her acting career was steadily, a breakthrough did not come to her until she was chosen to star on the CW show The Vampire Diaries. She became a household brand almost instantly. Candice King was recognized for brilliant acting and outstanding performance. The series lasted for 171 seasons in eight seasons. In addition, she played her recurring character on the spin-off series The Originals in 2018 and Legacies in 2021.
