Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. The mother of her child is English while her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised in an estate in south London community estate, and when she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained a BA degree in acting. At the academy was when she performed in various stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started in the series Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer was that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. The following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe was also a part of 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She also appeared on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes on The CW, and was then ended. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series was cast to play Ashley Davenport. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to depart the series following an appearance as a guest in the premiere episode from the 3rd season. The actress played Tituba in the show Salem in 2014 until. Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast alongside Madekwe on Salem.
Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for a Gemini Award, is a member of a large Hamilton family. Her parents, Roy and Patty, as well as her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley could not walk but danced. This led to the fact that when she turned 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley continued to perform competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. Ashley was awarded the best individualist in all the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
